About Career

He was very fond of playing cricket since childhood. When Virat was 9 years old, his father got him admitted in Raj Sharma West Delhi Cricket Academy. From here he completed his cricket training. His coach was Raj Kumar Sharma. He had earlier appeared for the city team under the label of Libran Edge Group. In the year 2006, his father died of a brain stroke. But after this he played an innings to save Delhi against Karnataka. In this he scored 90 runs. In the year 2008, he won Under 19 Malaysia. He made his debut against Sri Lanka in ODI 2018. At that time, India defeated Sri Lanka by 3/2. He made his debut in T20 by losing against Zimbabwe on 12 June 2010.
