He studied at the Sacred Heart School in Moga, after which he studied engineering at the Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur from where he attained a degree in electronic engineering.
About Career
After his initial studies, he went to Nagpur for further education and did engineering there. During engineering, he thought of acting and modeling, after which he came to Mumbai. It is said that Sonu Sood stepped into Mumbai with just 5 thousand rupees. Sonu Sood’s cinematic career started not with Hindi but with Tamil cinema. Sonu Sood’s Tamil debut film was ‘Kallazhagar’ and Hindi debut film was ‘Shaheed e Azam’. Sonu Sood is a pan-India actor and has worked in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi as well as English and Arabic cinema.
