He wanted to become an actor since childhood. He acted in a play in school. After doing which, people praised him a lot. Being happy with this, he thought of becoming an actor. So, when he was in 10th class. He had asked his father to leave school and pursue acting.But he refused to do so. Then after completing 12th, he asked his father to go to Bangalore. He agreed to this. But he said that if you come back, then for you The doors of the house will remain closed. They leave for Bangalore. They had 300 rupees in their pockets. As soon as he went to Bangalore, he gave interviews in many theaters. But he was taken in one theater. Benaka Drama Group kept him. He used to get some small roles while working there. Due to his experience, he got a chance to become an assistant director in a film.
But that movie was not made for a long time. Later this movie was closed. Now he had no work. That time was very difficult for him. Due to this he had to spend one night sleeping at the bus stand. Still He stayed there to fulfill his dream. He started giving interviews in films again.In 2004 he worked in a serial.Whose name was Uttaryana. No one paid any attention to him in this serial. He got the serial Nand Gokula. After this serial, he kept getting offers after offers. He worked in many serials. By 2007, he had become a well-known TV actor. He still wanted to become a film actor. His debut film Mogna Manasu was released in 2008. In this film, he got the job of a spotting actor. Due to which he got the love of the people. His real life wife Radhika worked in the film as the lead actress. In the year 2009, he did two films in one year – Kalarsan Sandhe and Gokula which flopped. His hit film Modalsaal came in 2010.
Even after many films flopped, he was getting offers for many films because his acting was excellent. In the year 2013, his film Googly became the highest grossing film in Kannada . Even in the year 2014, he gave two amazing films. After the year 2016, no movie came for two years because he was now working in the KGF movie.
