About Career
His father was a masoor actor, due to which he also had to come into films. His father gave a position to the Kannada industry which no one else could. Statues of his father have been built at many places in Karnataka. People considered him a god. His father dedicated his entire life to giving Karnataka a separate identity. His eyes were donated after the death of his father. Puneet Rajkumar followed his same thinking. He dedicated his entire life for the people of Kannada. He made his debut as a child artist with Premada Kanike film 1976. He gave 12 consecutive superhits. Gave films after which people started knowing them. People did not like him because of his complexion. But he showed that he is a good-hearted and down-to-earth person. He used to donate all the money he earned by singing. He said that God You have given me such a good voice, it should be used for a noble cause. Like his father, he had also donated his eyes. He died on 29 October 2021 at Vikram Hospital, Bengaluru due to heart attack. He left this world at the age of 46. Hardly anyone will be as great as him. He also gave these donations to many old age homes, schools, religious places and sports events. During the time of Covid, he donated Rs 50 lakh to Karnataka CM Fund and Rs 1.5 crore to PM Fund. He was a longtime actor who wanted to improve relations between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
